One of the UK’s biggest equine shows is coming to Warwickshire for its largest ever event.
Your Horse Live, now a three-day programme boasting performances from some of the horse world’s biggest stars, will return to the NAEC Stoneleigh next month.
The show will welcome horsing hobbyists from across the UK from Friday, November 9 to Sunday, November 11, and will feature over 420 equine stalls on display across four exhibition halls, on top of a star-studded line-up of horses and performers across the weekend.
Nick Skelton’s Big Star, with whom the Bedworth-born show jumper won two Olympic gold medals, will be leading the show’s Grand Horse Parade, and is set to be joined by other high profile names including Grand National winner Neptune Collonges and the Queen’s own Barber Shop.
The parade, new for 2018’s event, will take place in the BETA arena on Saturday and Sunday.
Show jumping legend Geoff Billington will be making an appearance as part of Saturday’s busy schedule, delivering an engaging and fun-filled demo on his life and career, whilst sharing techniques for riders of all abilities.
Saturday’s offering also includes a late night shopping experience, with all halls staying open until 8pm. The hundreds of stalls will be packed with more equipment, accessories, and gifts than any other show of its type.
Other activities include ‘how to’ demonstrations in the country and stable arena, expert talks and celebrity Q&A panels in the equine learning zone, and a rescue village, where visitors can find out more about horses looking for a new home.
Chris Hartley, of NAEC Stoneleigh, said:
We’re excited to be bringing this hugely popular event back to Stoneleigh Park in November.
Everyone who comes along is sure to have a fantastic time. This year we have more activities than ever, and some really big names joining us over the course of the weekend.
Whether our visitors are getting into the world of horses for the first time, or are avid horsing fanatics, there will be plenty for them to get involved with, and there will of course be plenty of chance for horse lovers to meet dozens of horses and ponies.
The show is staged by Bauer Media, who publish the Your Horse magazine.
Colin Hooper, Estates Director at Stoneleigh Park, said:
I am delighted that Your Horse Live is returning to Stoneleigh. As well as being home to more than 1,300 staff working for more than 100 companies and organisations, and therefore being one of the leading business parks in the region, we are, through NAEC Stoneleigh, also a major national events location, and Your Horse Live is one of the high profile events which takes place here.
